Palisades Charter High School Perimeter Fence Banner Policy
This policy addresses banner placement on the perimeter fences along Temescal Canyon Road, Sunset Boulevard, and El Medio Avenue. We reserve the right to make a policy regarding banner placement elsewhere on campus.
A. Banners of Outside Groups
- No banners on Sunset Blvd.
- All banners must be at least five feet away from Sunset Boulevard.
- There is a limit of 4 banners on Temescal Canyon Road and 2 banners on El Medio Ave.
- These banners will be put up on Tuesdays and taken down on Tuesdays and can remain up for 2 or 3 weeks with PCHS approval.
- The banners of a particular outside group cannot be put up more than 4 times a year.
B. Banners of Palisades Charter High School
- No banners on Sunset Blvd.
- Banners on Temescal Canyon Road can be placed to the immediate left of the compromise line (5 ft. from the corner of Temescal & Sunset) as one faces the fence, but if deemed appropriate by PCHS, banners can be placed even further to the left.
- Banners on El Medio Avenue will be at least five feet away from Sunset Blvd.
- There is a limit of 4 school-related banners at one time on Temescal Canyon Road and 4 on El Medio Avenue.
C. All Banners
- There will be a standardization of the size of banners, to be deterimined by PCHS.
D. Amendments
- After an event has occurred, the banner will be removed on the following Tuesday.
- All banners not authorized by PCHS will be removed.
