Transcript Requests
There are two types of transcripts: unofficial and  official.  All transcirpts MUST be requested in writing and submitted with original signature (no photocopies).   All transcript requests requires 2 - 3 days to process. A fee will be charged to expedite processing. Transcripts are $3.00 for students who are currently enrolled. An exception to the fee is made for graudating seniors who request official transcripts to be sent to colleges/universities and for scholarship applications. Transcripts are $5.00 for students who have graduated. Transcripts will be mailed by the Counseling Office for a postage fee of $1.00.

Unoffical transcript - will be stamped "unofficial". This transcript may be used to complete scholarship applications and for personal use (athletics, parents, letters of recommendation, review school records, etc.). Students should periodically request an unofficial transcript to verify posting of all summer school marks, colleges/university marks, online courses marks and any mark change made as a result of a mark appeal.

Official transcript - will be stamped "official if received in a sealed envelope" and placed in a sealed envelope. The offical transcript can be mailed by the Counseling Office or mailed by the student. If mailed by the student, the transcript cannot be removed from the sealed envelope otherwise is it no longer official.


Procedures for Requesting Transcripts

Current Students: Make requests in the Counseling Office. Please allow one day to receive transcript.

Fee: $3.00

Former Students  who graduated/left Pali High 2002 to current year:

1.The office is open from 8 am to 4 pm, daily, to request transcripts.
                                         or
2. Send a letter with the following information:

* Name used when enrolled as a student at PCHS
* Date of birth
* Date of graduation or last date of attendance (if Palisades was the last school
attended)
* Include a stamped addressed envelope with the name of organization, college,
employer, etc. where the transcript is to be sent
* Fee: $5.00 per transcript. Palisades will provide stamped envelopes for
$1.00 each. Please send a cashiers check or money order payable PCHS. DO NOT SEND CASH
* Phone number where you can be reached if there are questions
* Number of transcripts requested
* Your signature and date transcript(s) was requested

Note:  If you graduated or left before 2001 or attended Temescal Canyon High School prior to 2010, your records have been sent to LAUSD downtown records unit.  You will need to call the Counseling Office at (310) 230-6639 to obtain your file number and instructions for requesting a transcript.  You will need to order your transcript online through:
