Palisades Charter High School

Boys Tennis

Thank you for showing interest in the Boys Tennis Program. We are very proud of our athletic program and especially our Boys Tennis Team. It has been the most successful team in the City Section since Palisades High School opened in 1961.

Our tennis program holds the record for the most C.I.F-L.A. City Championships won in L.A.U.S.D. history – 31 team championships. In the last 9 years we have won the C.I.F.- L.A. City Boys Tennis Team Championships SEVEN times and were finalists/2nd Place the other two years. We have also had EIGHT doubles teams earn All-City Honors, including the last FIVE champions. All Four singles players garnered CIF-All-City awards, including the 1st and 2nd place.  We have captured the California High School Tennis Classic Division II title 2 out of the last 4 years that we entered that competition and won the entire Tournament (Division 1) in March 2016.  This year we competed in the ultra-competitive All American National Team Tournament and made the Finals earning 2nd place. We defeated Horace Mann ( New York), Corona Del Mar, San Marino, and lost in the finals to defending National Champion Torrey Pins.

The Tennis Program stresses hard work, dedication, team unity, academics, sportsmanship, effort, and good citizenship. The season runs from early February through June.
