Ceramics offers students the opportunity to explore a variety of ways to be creative. The class teaches techniques in hand-building and pottery which are used for both functional and sculptural projects.  Additionally, there are advanced opportunities available: students may take the class for a second year to pursue the mastery of specific skills through independent projects, or students may work with the AP Studio Art teacher to create a professional portfolio in Ceramics.
